Three More Caught on Camera Tuesday - August 21, 2008
At noon on Tuesday, a Cyber Minuteman identified three illegal aliens cross within view of a base station east facing camera. The three
were reported to Border Patrol and quickly detained and deported. This is our second bust in two weeks and we credit your vigilance to
making a big difference.
We just now added major bandwidth to our Internet upload service with wireless T1 to replace satellite and if you haven't noticed, your
image view will refresh and change every 4 seconds, instead of twenty seconds. We apologize for the slow speeds and timing-out of the
image uploader, but as we add bandwidth and provide tools such as the refresh button, 24/7 surveillance should prove more convenient
and useful as we progress.
We will add a new CRAVU unit with four cameras next week that will help us seal off Vigilance Valley and give us a look at a mesa top where
many illegal crossings occur. Please stay tuned as we will advise you when to login, if you haven't already, and our camera tally reaches nine.
