Volunteer Time to Building Border Fence
The Border Fence Project needs recruits to help transport materials and build fencing on our southern border, both on the border itself and on the perimeter of private properties.
Volunteers can serve one of various roles to help build fencing, including digging holes with mechanized Auger, mixing and pouring cement mix, planting u-posts and leveling, rigging barbed wire, etc. People with electronic skills as well as basic home improvement skills are asked to help mount solar motion lights, wireless cameras, set up reception of wireless receivers, monitors, and DVD recorders in nearby homes, and so on. Those with fencing experience, licensed fencing contractors (C-13 in California), and surveyors, along with tools, and trucks or SUV's are certainly encouraged to apply. No experience required - must be 18 years of age or over and in good health. We are also interested in recruiting attorneys and paralegals to help stave legal challenges. Those who build surveillance fencing on private property should be eligible for waged positions.
